One of our greatest concerns is ensuring the wellbeing of our international patients. And that comprises not only providing excellent medical treatment, but also an appropriate atmosphere. A diversified meal offer to meet your specific requirements besides diverse technical amenities aim at ensuring that you will recuperate quickly. A specially trained assistant will take care of our international patients. 

At Klinikum Landshut the following accommodation options are available: 

Two-bed rooms
At Klinikum Landshut the two-bed room is standard. If you book this room category, you will share one room with one other patient. Each two-bed room has en suite sanitary facilities with shower, basin and toilet. 

Single bedroom
Single bedrooms are provided with their own en suite sanitary facilities. This guarantees a high level of privacy. Our services include: cost-free use of TV and Internet, telephone use without basic rate, special menu upgrade.  

Comfort room
In our comfort room you will enjoy absolute privacy
The following options are included:

  • Electrically adjustable comfort bed
  • Luxurious room amenities with seating area and desk
  • Own safe and refrigerator
  • Blinds which you can regulate directly from your bed (south side)
  • Cost-free use of TV, audio/DVD player and Internet
  • Large-size HD flat screen with smart TV
  • Telephone use without base rate
  • Change of linen every second day
  • High-class bathroom with shower and toilet

We also offer a Comfort Area with a lounge and a coffee dispenser where you can welcome your visitors beyond your own hospital room.
Additional services

  • Enjoy reading an international daily newspaper every morning
  • We offer you an extensive menu upgrade. Our offer comprises a special menu with exquisite meals. This menu offer is also available for your accompanying relatives. 
  • Our specially trained service assistant will ask you every day if you desire fruit, pastries, chocolate bars or fruit juice
  • You will find towels, a bath robe and a small set of toilet articles including hair dryer at your disposal in your room
  • If needed, we can offer you laundry services
  • If needed, we can organise an interpreter
  • Please let us know if you would like us to organise accommodation facilities for your family and friends within the vicinity of the Klinikum 

Environment
We are aware of the fact that you have left your home country for treatment at our medical facility. It is therefore our aim to ensure that your stay at our clinic is as pleasant as possible. At the Klinikum Landshut a team that has been trained especially to cater for international patients from other cultural areas will attend to your needs. Many of our doctors speak other foreign languages besides German and English. Our staff members come from over 20 nations. Please let us know what we can do for you to ensure that you feel at home.
The successful medical outcome of your treatment is above all decisive for your well-being. Benefit from our interdisciplinary approach in the field of medicine in which the individual specialty clinics cooperate very closely, in particular if you suffer from a complex or rare disease. Amongst our team of medical specialists you will find many international doctors who have readily accepted positions at our clinic with its excellent reputation. 

After undersigning our special agreement for service and contract fees (Wahlleistungsvereinbarung) you are furthermore entitled to opt for treatment by the chief physician or his/her representative. Without signing this agreement, you will nevertheless obtain optimum medical treatment.
If you require a visa for your stay so that you can undergo treatment at our medical facility, it will be a pleasure for us to assist you in so far as this is possible. We will immediately issue an invitation for your visa application as soon as the coverage of costs has been clarified.
